I was visiting the area and chanced across The Nicholson Coffee House, and I’m very glad I did. Such a friendly welcome and great service. A simple morning tea: a fabulous blueberry muffin (made on site, and fresh out of the oven), a pot of leaf tea and a bottle of refrigerated tap water.
What is a shawarma, you ask? Great question—because until recently, I too was living in the culinary dark ages, tragically unaware that meat could spin vertically and change lives. That is, until I stumbled upon the chicken shawarma at Nicholson Coffee House in the exotic land of... Coburg. Yes, Coburg—home of tram stop 129 and apparently world peace wrapped in pita. Seriously, how has this spicy chicken miracle been kept a secret? It’s like someone wrapped up joy, regret (for not discovering it sooner), and a small fire into a flatbread and casually handed it to me with a smile. Honestly, it’s offensive how good it is.
Such a nice cafe serving excellent breakfast and top notch customer service. Our breakfast was very tasty with perfect coffee. Great gesture by the owner by giving us a complimentary chocolate croissant because our kid didn't eat anything.

This cafe is super cosy and cute, the food was delicious. I had the softest lamb with the most exotic rice and a mouth watering harissa sauce. I’ll be back for sure.
